As the Christmas season approaches, it means that holiday entertaining is not far behind. If you are hosting a Christmas or holiday party this year, then you will be looking for fun DIY party favors to create and give out to your guests. One of my favorite Christmas favors is the traditional Christmas Cracker. The tradition of the cracker started in the UK in the 1840’s and continues to be a popular favor to this day. Cardboard tubes are filled with small candies and toys, strips of paper with jokes, and even a paper crown. Not to be confused with the kind of crackers you eat, they get their name from the cracking sound they make when the ends are pulled to open them.
