If you are looking for fun decorating ideas or storage solutions but are on a budget as so many of us are, fear not as I have ideas for you! As a scrapbooker I sometimes feel like I need to have the latest and greatest of all of the patterned paper releases but that just isn’t in the budget. I get a few of my favorites and drool over the rest of them and remind myself that even if I had them I would probably think they are too pretty to cut up anyway! When my budget forces me to get creative I find that there are so many items I already have on hand like maps (free at rest areas!) and paint chips that I can use to create embellishments and journaling cards for my projects. There are so many great ways to recycle all of the paper that enters our homes to create not only embellishments but also decor and storage pieces, below I am sharing 20 of my favorite projects.
Flowers-These blooms are so beautiful you would never know by looking at them that they are created from magazines, egg cartons, and other recyclable materials. Looking through this list I know I already have all of these supplies on hand which makes these blooms budget-friendly as well. For maximum impact create multiples of these upcycled flowers to fill a vase or create a bouquet.
