Dana is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Creative Writing and English and minored in Business. While at the U of I, she was involved the Fellowship of Catholic University Students and interned at Common Ground Publishing. She was extremely blessed to study abroad in Prague, and that experience has been absolutely vital to her development as a writer. Though she deeply aspires to write and publish a series of books (which she began working on at age 12), she’s so grateful and excited for her job in publishing.

Emily graduated from Augustana College in 2013 with a degree in both English and Creative Writing and a minor in Art History. She spent a good chunk of her time there in the pool playing water polo or kicking butt at swim meets. Her interest in crafting came from her grandma, who was patient enough to let her experiment with her craft supplies. She is always browsing thrift stores for items she can turn into something new. In her last year of college, she worked as a marketing intern for the Quad City Botanical Center and the Figge Art Museum, two cultural staples of the Quad City Area.

Jaclyn graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011 with a B.F.A in acting. After college, she spent a year out in Los Angeles, but her love for live theatre drove her right back to the heart of the Midwest: sweet home Chicago. She stumbled upon another outlet for her creativity—blogging. After running her own blog for a year, she found herself at Prime Publishing where she could continue her quick-witted blogging for a living. She still acts, and essentially has two full-time jobs as she immerses herself in crafty bliss by day and wacky actor stuff by night.

Jennifer received her B.A. from Lake Forest College, where she majored in English Literature. During her college days, she spent most of her time reading up on philosophy, art history, photography, and literary theory. While it was hard to find one study to stick with, she has had a passion for writing for as long as she can remember. She has been enjoying her time at Prime Publishing and is a proud member of the Craft Team. When she is not reading and writing, she spends her free time listening to Pearl Jam, collecting records, and adjusting to life as a newlywed.

Laura is a graduate of Saint Louis University, where she studied English and Film Studies. After going to school in St. Louis, she lived there for a little over two years and worked at a television station and a book distribution company. While those experiences were invaluable and she met some great people along the way, she is excited to be back in the Chicagoland area and close to her family. She is also very happy to be a member of the editorial staff at Prime. Outside of her new-found interest in jewelry making, she loves watching/talking about movies, reading all different genres of books, and watching addictive dramatic TV shows.

Molly hails from Waukegan, Illinois, the home of Jack Benny, Ray Bradbury, and Jerry Orbach, which may explain her affinity for comedy, fantasy novels, and Beauty and the Beast, respectively. Molly graduated from Augustana College with a degree in English and Classics. While her Greek is rusty, she’ll break out her Latin whenever possible. Molly studied abroad in Austria and Italy and has also traveled through Germany and Greece. She hopes to visit England to walk in the steps of Elizabeth I (not to mention the Beatles!). After a 2-year stint at the Newberry Library, Molly attended the University of Denver Publishing Institute, which was one of the most rewarding experiences of her life thus far.

Nicola received her B.A. from Augustana College, where she majored in both English and Creative Writing with a minor in Art. She spent her college days playing clarinet in the Augustana Symphonic Band, competing on the Augustana Equestrian Team, and tutoring fellow students in the Reading/Writing Center. She’s proud to say that she’s the first female to major in Creative Writing at Augustana and that she paved the way for future writers at Augie. For the entirety of her senior year, she wrote what will hopefully be her first published creative non-fiction novel. Nicola spends her free time dabbling in photography, making jewelry, crocheting, and drawing.
