Book Bell Ornament

Homemade Christmas Ornaments

Bookworms appreciate the beauty of words no matter what the season. Display your love of language with a recycled book project like this ornament, and visitors will know that they’ve entered a bibliophile’s home.

Remix the contents of your garbage bin into a gorgeous recycled Christmas craft. This Book Bell Ornament looks stunning no matter what text you choose to repurpose. The more well-worn the pages, the more vintage the vibe. Lightly brush the edges of the pages with gold glitter and this eye-catching ornament craft will sparkle from every angle.

Recycled Bird OrnamentBONUS! Do the environment a favor this Christmas with the Recycled Bird Ornament. This ornament craft is perfect for paper scraps. If you prefer a more colorful bird, use scrapbook paper instead of upcycled book pages.

Book Pages Rosette TreePaper Christmas Trees

Table top trees add so much to the ambiance, and they’re easy to make. Whether you want to create a winterscape on your mantel or dress up your dining room table, a classic table top tree is sure to do the job.

The rosettes on this table top tree may look like they are made from fabric, but each delicate flower is actually a folded book page! The Book Pages Rosette Tree is an elegant take on Christmas tree crafts. Vintage inspired projects never go out of style, so you can bring out this piece of DIY home decor every year. Because this table top tree features a neutral color scheme, you can leave it up all winter.

Recycled Map TreeBONUS! Not sure what to do with those out-of-date atlases? Give those colorful pages new life with this Recycled Map Tree tutorial. With a foam core and a little hot glue, you can recreate this look for yourself. This clever Christmas decoration tells visitors that you’re well-traveled and eco-friendly to boot.
