Rack Systems are a Must-Have for Crafters.
When you’re a crafter, quilter, sewer or just a mom, there are plenty of opportunities to be creative. But it’s a whole lot easier to be creative when you can find all of your supplies. Avoid re-purchasing items you have, and keep everything you need at your fingertips with a rack system from Creative Options®.
Available in many sizes, these systems have racks of removable front compartments for flexible storage space, allowing you to customize your storage needs. The top compartment is a little deeper and more spacious allowing space for larger tools like corner rounders, staplers and tape. It’s even big enough for a small paper trimmer or a large measuring tape. Here are some ideas to get the best utilization out of your rack system.
Scrappy little Crafter
If your hobbies include scrapbooking or any crafting, the large rack systems give you organization and mobility. They’re perfect to keep on a crafting table or desk to corral your clutter, and just the right size to take along to a crop or Pinterest party.
The front includes four 2-3500 utility boxes with Creative Options® own Pro-Latch™ technology. They’re just the right size for embellishments, brads, markers and pens. The adjustable dividers allow you to change the size of the sections within compartments as you take on more supplies. So they’re super flexible for constant re-organizing, which we all know is just a fact of life, especially if you’re a crafter.
The middle compartment allows for a little more depth, so it’s just the right size for an “anything else” space. The organization system’s equivalent of a “junk drawer,” for those items that you’re going to get around to assigning a place. This way you won’t have to put a hold on your creative process to stop and organize. It will be there after the project is done. It’s big enough to handle everything from large photographs, construction paper and sticker sheets.
Getting Crafty with the Kids.
Any one of these compartments can be designated for kids’ supplies. When you hear the constant calls of “we’re bored” during the next rainy day, simply direct them to this department of kid-friendly fun crafts. Stock this section with pipe cleaners, round-tipped scissors and popsicle sticks. Be sure knito include some water-based washable markers and a glue stick if that’s age appropriate for your kiddos.
If they’re feeling really creative, you might have to give them access to other compartments with construction paper, sticker sheets and buttons. Bored no more, there’s no telling what masterpieces you’ll have at the end of the day.
Less Messy Mudroom
Items that are not quite garage worthy, but far from being allowed in the kitchen typically find their way into your mudroom. The top is large enough for medium sized tools that you’re constantly using around the house. This is the perfect place to store duct tape, a power screwdriver or measuring tape. Easy access without a trip to the shed. Have a hubby who’s always accusing you of misplacing his tools? Buy your own tools, we’re thinking you should go heavy on the pink too!
The mudroom rack system is also a great place for last-minute school items you need to shove in your kids backpack right when they’re heading out the door. We’re thinking extra pens and pencils, maybe even some spare lunch money. Your mudroom will be in top-top shape before you know it.
The Sky’s the Limit
Of course these are just a few ideas for amazing home and craft organization with Creative Options® rack systems. Some other ideas include home office, school supplies, gift wrap and bows, garage, storing knitting needles and other supplies, and keeping that playroom nice and clean. So, use it for anyplace or any space you want to keep tidy.
