Photography is less about what you capture and more about how you capture it. With these four composition techniques you can transfer any photo into a masterpiece.
Rule of Thirds
The image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines, and important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections, which are the four focal points.
Spacing
Leave ample space in the direction your subject is looking otherwise the photo could feel uncomfortable or confined.
Simplicity
Offset a plain subject with textures, patterns and busy backgrounds to emphasize its simplicity.
Leading Lines
Use lines to tell a story, place emphasis on a subject or draw a connection between two subjects.
