It has been about a month that I started making jewelry – mainly earrings. I have been pleased so far. I try to make them unique and eye catching with that WOW factor. Recently I have been working with wire. It involves a lot of trail and error and have been getting better every day. I have lots to learn and would like to eventually sell my jewelry online.

Lots of these girls and women come to these shelters with only the clothes on their backs after being abused, and a piece of jewelry can lift their spirits and make them feel better about themselves.

My favorite thing to make is someone smile when I give something I’ve made away to them. I’ve gotten back into beading. I just finished my first polymer clay piece.
