I have made pillows, rugs, and curtains
I have built a custom- sized entertainment stand( prebuilt ones would not fit) , shelving, and re-finished a chest of drawers to become a microwave stand as well as custom- sized curtains( my windows are odd sized).
recycled paper necklaces.
I”ve made curtains, pillows, and I’m in the process of making an old coffee table into a bench.
I have made mostly home decor and wall hangings 🙂
I have used plastic canvas to create small containers that fit my needs… an oddly shaped shallow container to hold pencils etc when I place it between my placemat and my book holder, for example. I made a picnic basket to hold a single lunch. I have used plastic canvas to make a bottle-holder with a purse strap so I always have my water bottle within easy reach… not just in a pocket in a backpack.
My sister & I gather with her daugher & kids to craft each month… it’s always different & so much fun & the kids are so creative!
I’ve made furniture, accent pillow, seasonal decorations, scented candles and I especially enjoy recycling projects.
I’ve made curtains, quilts, crocheted and knitted throws. I’ve even made a paper organizer for my girls out of old cereal boxes.
I was doing needlepoint and made several pictures that are hanging in my house. I also made lots of needlepoint items for my family and friends. Now that I’ve gotten in paper crafting the needlepoint has gone by the wayside. I made lots of greeting cards that I send to friends and family. I want to do some mixed media projects – some will decorate my house and some will be given away. the paints and stencils would give me a great start. thanks.
I have made lots of Christmas cards for family.
We love making knick knacks for our home.
I have made wall hangings, pillows, quilts, inspirational sayings, vinyl sayings, curtains, holiday décor and so many other things for the home!! I love any type of creating and am really loving mixed media art right now! The possibilities are endless!!! This is an amazing prize package that would work well in my creating time!! Thanks for the chance to win such awesome products!
I love diy! Right now I am repainting and decorating walls .
I sew a lot. As I look around I see place mats, table runners, quilts, pictures, curtains, pillows, wall hangings and lots of potholders, towels. You get the picture. Oh yes there are painted planters.
I have made pillows, pillowcases, afghans, pictures, and put together furniture.
A Doctor Who door/tardis.
macrame plant hangers
I’ve done macrame. I made a skeleton out of white macrame. He’s about 6′ tall and hangs from the rafters on my front porch. Poor guy has to be 30 years old but he still looks great and enjoys getting out each fall and hanging around for a month or so.
I’ve made shelves, stands, curtains, as well as picture frames, storage boxes- wooden and Plastic canvas.
I make quilts, pillows, wall hangings, curtains, vinyl sayings, holiday décor and lots of other things for my home!
I have made wall hangings, photo frames, and pencil cups. The sound of dice in a Yahtzee cup gets on my nerves, so I made a pencil cup to use as a dice shaker!!
I sew made curtains, pillows, blankets. I’ve made candles and alot of things for the home.
I have mainly decorated walls, some clothing. Would love to explore pillows!
How my children would love this………about time for more crafting!
I have helped to organize crafts for Vacation Bible School. We have painted cardboard pyramids, weaved baskets from yarn and cardboard, and used air drying clay to make pottery. I love to make greeting cards using old sheet music, stencils, leaf stamping, and “found” objects. I love paper and what can be done with it with a little paint and glue!
minions and dolls
I have made Moravian stars out of paper strips.
I love crafting with paints. I enjoy using the stencils to paint a design on tote bags or wood, jars, you name it. I like to freehand but, using the many products that are available always turns out more professional.
I have decorated a set of drawers with paint and stencils as well as many wood burning projects using stencils
Lots of things, picture frames, wall decor, flower arrangements, candles, curtains, just to mention a few, I come from a very crafty family, lol
I have made curtains, pillows and a blanket.
I’ve crocheted some throws for the living room chairs. They are so warm and comforting when you curl up in a chair and wrap them around you. You know they were made with love and care.
I crochet, knit, cross stitch and paint on fabric making
Children’s clothing, place mats .Towels Xmas Decorations
etc.
I have made draperies, afghans, Christmas decorations, Halloween decorations, yard art, home made soap and candles, boo boo bunnies, pillows, blankets, throws, and clothing for humans and dolls.
I have made tissue covers, doilies, long runners, magazine racks, sewing kits, needle cases, and a trivet I use several times a week many years after having made it! I have made many dishcloths, but not for my house — for my daughter and my granddaughter, who loves to help her mom.
I have made collages, frames and mosaics for my home.
I’ve made stands, shelving, storage boxes, curtains, and now am working on an “in-wall” medicine cabinet.

I restored our dinner room table and made some new chairs for it.
I haven’t made anything yet.
I’ve made Christmas ornaments.
pillows and dish cloths
I’ve taken discarded items and made something “new” out of them- a dresser into a microwave stand, a bedframe into a shelving unit… now I’m tearing out a bit of a wall to put in a storage cabinet.
Now that I’m into paper crafating I’ve been embellishing different items for display in the house.
I’m working on a papermache (sp?) pumpkin that is covered with washi tapes. I’m using 8 or 10 different tapes to encircle the pumpkin. Then it will get lots of ribbons and leaves at the top.
That is going on my dining room table.
I have upcycled & upholstered sofa & chair; curtains; wall art; embroidered tablecloths & napkins; Christmas tree ornaments & tree skirts; panted lamps & embellished lampshades; upcycled, painted & stenciled coffee & side tables. I am now living in a skilled nursing facility, and I use a wheelchair. I was looking at this week’s giveaway package, and I was immediately full of ideas for how I could use them to decorate my plain black chair; and thereby, I would create a unique and, perhaps happier wheelchair? While I no longer have my Singer or Husqvarna sewing machines, I do have a small craft sewing machine which should allow me to sew a cover for the detachable cushion and then both sides of the backrest would be perfect for stenciling. I would not be surprised if some of my jewelry making supplies also found their way onto my redo of my trusty wheelchair. Given the way I love to crochet, make paper flowers and 3D paper crafts, as well as digital scrapping, who knows what or which additional crafts will become blended in a project I’m doing. At this point in my life reading, writing, Bible study and crafting are what occupies my life since all of these can be done from my chair or in my bed. Of course, living in an assisted living facility means my benefit checks go to the facility, so like most residents in nursing facility I only have $30 per month to spend as I choose. Still, with careful planning and an occasional gift I am able to have a selection of supplies which means while my body may not be healthy and active, my mind and creativity always are.
I’ve made countless holiday decorations, including wall hangings, Halloween trains, Halloween house, ornaments for the Christmas tree, a gazillion tiny Christmas stockings, large stockings when my kids were young, Easter crafts, etc.
Just found your blog!
I make wall hangings
and decorations.
Carla from Utah

I would use these amazing stencils to create pillows for each of my grandchildren to have for their rooms! They would go well with the quilts I made them each when they were born!

I love to repurpose items, especially larger items that will become a focal point, ie: a dresser into a microwave stand, a bedframe into shelving…
I love to see my ideas become reality.

This is a craft I love doing. Making my own fabric designs for pillows, placemats, napkins, and other things is something I enjoy. Especially since my sense of humor is a little drier and more sarcastic than most and I like my house to reflect me. I’d have fun with this set.
I love making things out of something else, in whole or use parts. I get an idea and then look for the parts or I’ll see something and get an idea of what it can become. I just finished an arbor out of gazebo pieces that the wind blew down and ruined( it was on it’s way to the garbage). I love to create something unique out of recycled items.

pillows and afghans
I have made many items out of reused parts. Being disabled has allowed me time to let my creative juices flow. I don’t have the money to buy so I have to make. I just finished an arbor from an old, wind ruined gazebo- it cost only $2.99 for the bolts. I have been asked where I bought it because others want one. What a nice feeling to find beauty in “trash”.
I want to do more, but I have only started on scrap books. Thank you

As a teacher creativity is a part of my life and crafting things out is my hobby. Really enjoy teaching new art and craft things to my kids and feel the joy when they come up with their own creativity to me.
