I am a quilter and sewing always is a destresser for me.
i love to knit, it is very relaxing
Mine is doing hand embroidery.
I paint to relieve my stress!
I crochet or make beaded Christmas ornaments.
Crocheting hearts for the Peyton Heart Project is purposeful and calming.
I think my favorite de-stresser is crocheting hats for the homeless. I have a pattern that requires a little yarn, a crochet hook, and then sit back and just relax for a while.

Crochet is my favorite de-stresser. I recently learned to do loom knitting so I could teach it to my granddaughter, and I find loom knitting quite relaxing as well.
Hand embroidery and reading , away from TV, is a very relaxing.
My favorite de-stressing craft is coloring in coloring books. My favorites are later used to decorate my dorm room. At times doodling too. This would be the best Christmas present if I win.

I don’t really do crafts but I do love to color and I also love to take photos while out in nature.
Knitting is my favorite de-stressing craft. Coloring & embroidery are also favorites.
I love to find the time to make stained glass projects. My husband and I need to get back to tjis relaxing hobby.
I love to paint…anything. But, last year my daughter gave me a coloring book, so now when I don’t have time to set up a canvas…I color. Whoever thought?
I love making cards and coloring with many colors are my things to do.
I took up colouring about a year ago. I fussed over selecting a book I could use the images of later in my scrapbooks. My husband bought me some Prismacolour Premiere pencils for Christmas, and I started to colour. Slowly I caught the bug. I found digital images online to colour, bought stamps to colour, bought markers to colour with and found my colouring improving. Now I colour daily and I bring images with me to colour when I go to appointments at the mechanics, the dentists, wherever. Colouring really is de-stressing for me. I am under doctor’s care for anxiety and I know when I have my colouring things with me I won’t even notice people around me I’ll be so lost in the colours.

Actually there are several crafts that I do to de-stress. Card making is one of them. Crochet is another.
Quilting is another. And I love woodworking.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! My favorite de-stressing craft is coloring. I know, that seems like the perfect answer for today’s contest, but it’s true. My 6 year old daughter also likes to color with me. She is very talented and can color some of the most intricate pictures with my help. Coloring is a craft that we enjoy doing together, but sometimes I will color on my own just to be by myself and de-stress.
Being Retired sometimes you get lonely and this passes the time, I get together at the local senior center and all us oldies sit for hours coloring and chatting. Coloring takes away the hours of stress and anyone can do it. It also helps with the aging mind. Love it.

Cross stitch and coloring are my go-to destressers, but if I had to choose one, it would be cross stitch.
I like to color the new paper pages.
I make pop tab bike chain necklaces and bracelets. Its easy to pick up and put down, with nothing to remember.

My favorite de-stressing craft is either embroidery or colouring.
Crochet is my how I get rid of stress. It takes my mind off of things while I pick out the pattern I want, my yarn or thread. I have also have something to show for my time.
I do all types of crafts, but my favorite is floral design! I find it peaceful and relaxing because I can sit with all the flowers in front of me, take my time and smell each flower and decide how to place them to make a bouquet or arrangement that dazzles my Brides, friends, family or just for me!
I like to bake and decorate cookies and candies, or sometimes I do adult coloring books.

This is a tough one, because somehow my craft projects always seem to stress me out in the end! Jk – sort of. But since art journaling is private, I never have to worry about how “perfect” it looks. That is how I de-stress. 😀
I play instruments as a primary de stresser, but that might not count xD if Im stressed ill often doodle and do some adult coloring
I luv coloring. Crayons, markers, pencils, paints…. having the already-printed pages ready to go is stress free for me!
My favorite de-stressed now is adult coloring books. It use to be crafting but when the deep depression sets in, I stop doing the crafting for long periods of time. It’s the coloring books it keeps my mind concentrated solely on the coloring book. Keeps me calm and stress free.
Cooking, which may not be a craft, always relaxes me. However, during an evening, crocheting; even more now because of all the wonderful free patterns on the internet.

I enjoy so many arts and crafts to help lighten up and lose the stresses of the day.Within this last year, coloring is one of the things I do to help. Took my books and pencils with me for a couple of stays in the hospital and they really helped with my not being bored and anxious. I even got some nurses and aides hooked while I was there. My grand daughter thinks its cool to color together!
My favorite craft to de-stress… is scrapbooking. I am still working on my scrapbook from my wedding/ honeymoon. So it’s a good way to clear my mind

My very favorite de-stressing craft is to have my grown kids and grandkids all join in with me and we make all kinds of Christmas ornaments. We’ve made cinnamon applesauce “cookies,” angels out of crepe paper, painting and filling clear round ornaments, craft kit ornaments, and many more. It’s a family tradition!

I have recently discovered needle felting! It is a very calming hobby, as is coloring 🙂

My favorite de-stressing craft is making a hand-made ceramic Christmas tree every year that is unique and displaying it all season.
I enjoy coloring and have since I was young. Before adult color books became all the rage, I’ve always had a box of crayons and a fun kids color book in my bedside night stand. I always colored when I was stressed or sick. It’s very comforting.
