That’s easy-my favorite Christmas ornaments are the ones I have made, first with photos of each of my children as infants and now I have done so with each grandchild’s photo too. I have 5 now and, before this Christmas season, I will have my 6th grandchild. While I am very partial to all of my handmade ornaments and ones I have collected from other locations (vacations, etc.), the family ones mean the most!
My favorite ornament is a very large nail that gets tucked inside the tree. It represents what Christ did for us on the cross. It comes with a poem that I used to read to my children every year.

my very most favorite Christmas ornament is a crystal, gold, and oat bead ornament called Sputnick. I learned how to make this ornament from a Beading Book back in 1990. I lost all my books in a house fire in 1993, but fortunately remembered the design, and have been able to reproduce them, and thereby replace the ones lost in the fire. As well, I have been able to make the ornament for my kids, and am now working on some for the grandkids.
I love the clear ornaments that you can fill with something that the person likes. For instance, for a seamstress I filled an ornament with cut off corners from squares as they were sewn into triangles. These scraps were very pretty when they were shaken in the ornament and they mixed their colors together. this makes the ornaments more personal. Anyway, hope to win so I can continue to craft things for home and others.
My favorite ornament is a small wooden pail that I hand painted a Santa on.
My favorite Christmas ornament is actually a small tabletop Christmas tree that has years of ornaments collected by my daughter. I had several ornaments at one time especially the ones my two children made. Then June 16, 1990 a very small creek turned into a raging river after we had 5 inches of rain in 20 minutes. From this I lost many things but what I missed most was all my Christmas decorations. Later my church gave us a decoration shower. Some were new and others were ones that person had hung on their own tree. It would be hard to pick one because each one has a sweet memory.
