On the tenth day of our 12 Days of Christmas in July Giveaway, my true love gave to me…this Snowflake Frame Tutorial from Plaid!
MATERIALS
- Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe Gloss

Coffee Filters
-
5×7 Gold Frame with Glass

9×11 Gold Frame with Glass

5x 3 ½” Gold Frame with Glass

Scissors
- Hot glue gun
INSTRUCTIONS
- Create snowflakes with the coffee filters. Fold in half, fold into triangle three more times and cut the sides to create your snowflake
- Mod Podge the snowflakes to the glass. Hot glue the glass to the frame.

I would hang these in my front hall, so that I would see and enjoy them every time I went in and out, and others would see them as soon as they came in.
These would go in the bay window of my dining area, facing the street, so they would be a soft shadow in the night, enchanting passersby.
Excellent idea, I would donate it to my church craft fair.
I would put them on my mantle.
I would put these gorgeous frames in our spare room/ nursery. We take care of a cousins baby girl Fri – Mon every week and she loves looking at contrasting colors so these would be perfect to decorate her room with! Also they’re pretty enough that when we have an over night guest, they will love these as well!
I would hang the frames in my entry way across from a mirror that I already have.

I love the idea of capturing a snowglake. Mother nature is so beautiful & unique, who wouldn’t want a little bit of her everything hung here and there.
These pictures and frames I would place going down my hall and staircase. This way it would start the Winter Holiday Spirit as you head to the kitchen in the a.m. before you reach for that 1st cup of coffee to warm you up–

I always use frames for my paintings. I paint using oil, acrylics, and water color and these frames would be perfect for my work, most of which I donate. I sell a few pieces but mainly give them away as donations to charity or as gifts to friends.

I would put these above my couch in the living room so that they can be enjoyed by everyone who comes to visit me.

I think I’d want the snowflakes over my computer desk in my bedroom where I can see them every day . I love snowflakes and snowmen–much rather see them in frames on the wall than as the real thing in drifts of several feet deep.
I would put them around the living room.maybe a couple in the bathroom.it never gets decorated for the holiday. Everywhere that needs more.

I would use these frames for my wedding which is white and gold themed (with pictures of my engagement photos on the Guest Book table) then I will hang then in our new home as a memento.
I would frame organic things such as leaves and dried flowers, 4 leaf clovers. Things like that

In my living room to decorate for Christmas.
I have a very large open living room that flows right into the dining room. The dining room always feel a little bare around Christmas time since the living room gets all the love. Since I love and usually use a winter/snowflake theme each year, I would put these into the dining room so it doesn’t look bare and to tie the room into the living room decor.
I would put the frames, with the beautiful snowflakes right above my home-office desk so that I could look up and see them during this summer heat and be reminded that there is an end to it, and that Winter will bring relief eventually. They would be a visual relief focal point for making it through the Texas heat.

I love mod podge. I have used it for sealing patterned paper to the front of composition books and journals. I also use it to give some firmness to crochet flowers that are attached to the eraser that is at the end of a pencil. These are really cute. My granddaughters love them.

I would love to hang these in my hallway- I have never found anything to hang on the walls that I really liked but these snowflakes fit the bill.

I would hang these in my office at work. I am an activities director and my Residents would totally love seeing them everyday. The snowflake is as individual as each of my Residents are and I know they’d enjoy them every day.

I love these snowflakes. I remember making them as a child, but, of course, they were not so sophisticated and did not look so pretty. When they are done and put in the frame with glass they look especially wonderful. They have distinct borders and spaces in-between and, as I said, they are pretty much perfect where the ones I remember making were really lopsided and had not of the consistency that these have. Love them.

As you walk into my front door there is an alcove which leads into my living room. I would place it on the living room wall opposite the front door, so as you walk the alcove you would catch them and see them as they lead you into the living room.

I help coordinate easy crafts for the seniors at our local senior center. These would make wonderfull editions on our walls during the holidays. Our members love doing easy crafts that they can still do, and they love making snowflakes!!! Just never thought of putting them in frames before .
