I’d knit prayer shawls for local nursing homes and with what I have already in my yarn stash, combine all the yarn left over to make blankets for animal shelters. I’ve also knitted in the past for children services, fire departments, and local homeless shelters. When you can’t do it all, at least you can still give some comfort and love 🙂

Our church group crochets Xmas items for the Assisted Living home in our town. We love donated yarn. This year we are giving our items each quarter. What fun to deliver these items!

I would make baby blankets for Christmas season NICU newborns. I have twins, 28 wk premies that are now 22 yrs old. They spent almost 3 months in NICU and we were given premie crocheted clothes and I loved them. I finally learned crochet 2 yrs ago and I love it!
